Spend one day and night in mystical mountains of Montverde’s Cloud Forest in one of Costa Rica’s World renowned by biologists and nature lovers Rainforests. Experience a canopy Adventure soaring through tree tops through the jungle. Toucans, Macaws, green frogs, colorful birds, monkeys and all the wildlife this Rainforest has to offer will accompany you on this adventure. At night experience our unique night walk where you will have a chance to walk among the abundant night life while listening to magical songs and tunes coming from this Rainforest. Enjoy the forest at night. Join us; witness a magnificent sunset and get prepared for the forest’s exuberating night life. Choose a different and exiting activity to do during the evening; get in touch with nature and be prepared to interact with the Cloud Forest’s biodiversity. Second day you will take a 2 hour drive to Rio Celeste and take a once in a lifetime walk to a special place named by locals “The Cathedral “this is are underground caves which are home to waterfalls and underground rivers that are light blue, this due to the rich volcanic minerals that are in the earth and flow out with the abundant Rainforest water that originates in the mountains and volcanoes nearby. Spend the rest of the evening dipping in any of the four thermal pools on the property or indulging in a mineral rich mud bath and sauna. There are many trails and tours to choose from and also you will have a butterfly farm and botanical garden at your disposal walking distance from your room.

Rio Celeste’s color may vary depending on the time of year, the best colors or more intense blue will be in April and May. Due to the strength of current in the underground waterfalls and river it is not permitted to swim or get in the water, this is for our visitor’s safety and there are no exceptions.
