Tour Isla Tortuga – 6 days 5 nights

Day 1: Departure

Arrive to San Jose and pick up to hotel, depending on time of arrival dinner.

Day 2

7:00am breakfast at hotel.
8:00am departure to Isla Tortuga, one of Costa Rica’s natural jewels located on the Nicoya peninsula in Guanacaste. Hotel arrival and Dinner.

8:00am breakfast and departure to Tambor Turtle Rescue, here you may observe depending on season turtles hatching at this rescue center or you may also join a volunteer group patrolling this 3 km stretch of beach.

8:00 am departure to Montezuma located on Costa Rica’s North Pacific coast. Montezuma and Malpais are world renowned for its easy and peaceful lifestyle. Home to many surfing enthusiasts. In this area you can enjoy the natural trails that will take you on a tropical rainforest adventure while bordering gorgeous beaches and observe overhanging palm trees and wildlife as never seen before, you will visit a waterfall after a 20 min walk through the jungle. Among the additional activities you can choose to do are: fishing, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, Yoga and surfing. Surfing lessons are available upon request with any of our local surfers.

Day 3

Breakfast at hotel 8:00am. Departure to MalPais where you will visit another enchanting beach and relax by the Oceanside while having lunch., After lunch you will take a trail leading to waterfalls and winding through the rainforest. Back to your hotel for lunch and afternoon walk to one of the most famous surfing areas where you will absorb a breathtaking sunset. Head Back to your bungalow for dinner and relaxation.

Day 4

7:00am Breakfast and 8:00am Yoga class. Enjoy a yoga class while observing this paradisiac beach setting and hear waves crashing as you are among birds and wildlife while you unwind and get ready for another beautiful day in Costa Rica. Lunch and departure to Palo Verde National Park, here you will travel on the river and enjoy all the wildlife this park has to offer. Lunch at Tempisque Safari Wildlife Refuge and departure to Nicoya. Dinner at Hotel.

Checkout and 7:00am breakfast. Departure to San Jose and 8:00 dinner

Day 5

7:00 am breakfast and 8:00 am pick up and visit to Costa Rica Animal Rescue Center in Turrucares Alajuela.
www.costaricaanimalrescuecenter.org her you will observe and interact with animals that have been recued or donated to this organization. These animals are cared for and nurtured back to health and form part of this loving family. Animals you will see are two and three fingered sloth, capuccine monkeys, spider monkeys an aviary with a variety of parrots and birds and many more.

Day 6: Return

Pick up and drop off at the airport.
