Monteverde – Arenal Volcano – 7 days 5 nights

Day 1: Departure

Arrive to San Jose and pick up to hotel, depending on time of arrival dinner.

Day 2

7:00 am breakfast at hotel.
8:00 am departure to Montverde National Park. Once you arrive at Montverde you will check into your hotel and enjoy a typical Costa Rican lunch.

After lunch you will take a short ride and arrive to the hanging bridges and canopy. Here you will experience Montverde’s amazing nature in all its majesty. Spend an unforgettable afternoon in one of Costa Rica’s hidden Jewels.

Day 3

Breakfast in Monteverde hotel 7:00 am
Hotel pick up 8:00am and waterfall hike. Take a short hike to Montverde’s breathtaking waterfall. Here you will experience the rainforest first hand, taking in sights, sounds and smells only found in Costa Rica.

After Waterfall visit we will head north to Guanacaste and arrive at Tamarindo Beach Hotel. You will have a delicious seafood dinner.

Day 4

7:00 am Breakfast and 8:00 am pick up at front desk.
You will take a 20 min drive to one of Costa Ricas most unique beaches. Conchal is formed by millions of tiny seashell and is tucked away on calm beach where you can swim in peace while taking in warm sunshine. Conchal is also a great place to snorkel, take a stroll on the beach or explore the beach and neighboring rocks and trees.

After Conchal you will take a 10 min drive to another of Costa Rica’s pristine white sand beaches named Flamingo famous for its Sunsets. Here you can spend the evening absorbing the scenery, sipping cocktails or participating in other activities.6:00 departure back to Tamarindo Hotel and 8:00 pm Dinner.

Day 5

Checkout and Beachfront Breakfast 7:00 am in Tamarindo Tamandua Café.
Departure to Palo Verde River tour. After a 1 hour drive you will arrive to our Tempisque River, here you will board a boat that will take you through a wildlife Adventure. On this journey you will most likely see monkeys, crocodiles, iguanas, Scarlet macaws, toucans and the widest variety of waterfowl that inhabit our Costa Rica Lowlands.

After the River Tour you will visit Tempisque Safari Adventures www.tempisquesafaricr.com where you will experience a wide variety of species in this Wildlife Refuge. Heading back to San Jose after lunch and Safari Tour. You will arrive at your hotel in San Jose and 8:00pm dinner.

Day 6

7:00 am breakfast and 8:00 am pick up and visit to Costa Rica Animal Rescue Center in Turrucares Alajuela.
www.costaricaanimalrescuecenter.org her you will observe and interact with animals that have been recued or donated to this organization. These animals are cared for and nurtured back to health and form part of this loving family. Animals you will see are two and three fingered sloth, capuccine monkeys, spider monkeys an aviary with a variety of parrots and birds and many more.
